Civic Amplifier

Section perspective of a civic urban confluence - a building to house and support public programs such as performance, voting, lectures, new media production, and cafeteria. Intentionally multi-leveled landscape offers promenades that link urban intersections to surprising passages into the buildings. Outdoor city space is enclosed on three sides, implying a private room, a respite from the city. Sweeping forms hold their shape where appropriate but deconstruct to reveal unique places to its inhabitants and passersby, hopefully amplifying serendipitous interaction.
